I've thought about that, too, John. I keep looking to see if anyone has any reviews for the new Pirate MD with the controls in the earphones. I never see any hunters in the water...it's too cold out there.

What a great feeling to find a foreign coin. I found one of those Bajan quarters a couple of years ago and I was thrilled too! It makes you wonder how it got there, all the way from Barbados.
Good Finds and decent of you to go on a ring hunt for the lost ring. I hope you find it and are able to make the return. Cheers, BDA |

I have seen a couple in the surf, wading. But I have talked to one serious about water hunting only at Corona Del Mar. He pointed out a rock that is good and a spot where he found 12 gold rings in one outing. There is a danger by the rock. There is a submerged lobster trap that likes to grab MDers. I don't know how to figure out where the good stuff would be - and there are a lot of other unknowns. Out here a wetsuit is essential. Brrrrrr! John
