Default Treasure is where you find it...

...and I found this silver box, 5 inches in diameter, weighing 11 ounces...on eBay for 5 dollars. I think I have 11.00 in it counting postage. It has a maker's mark as shown....but I am not sure of the fineness of the silver...because it's not marked.

Just the silver content alone makes it a good deal!

A lot of silver items were sometimes engraved with the initials of the owner. I wonder if that is the case here?
