mercury dime and a tootsie sub
HI yall,
i finally got out today to hunt my in-laws property again, i scored a '35-d merc about 4 inches down then dug a 1940's die cast toy...a sub made by tootsie toy co. about 1 foot from the dime. I also got a dated thimble engraved 48 and on the other side "ella",i dug a army coat button,a '58 nickel,and some various unknown metal pieces. Was so nice to get dirty finally,i have not been able to dig in like 4 weeks!!! Hope all is well for everyone. Oh and for anyone interested in hunting my property yall are more than welcome,its about one acre has been in use since the 1820's,my home was built in '42-'43 and the old country store was in use since the 30's. Prior to that it was part of a stage coach stop on the old lebanon/rome pike in Tennessee.I have pulled a few coins and old metal but there is literally almost 200 years of trash in the soil.I'm interested in seeing what a high end detector could turn up out here.
