Trip update
Hi folks -
Well, I'm enjoying my trip, although I haven't goten to hunt yet... we're not staying as close to the beach as I had thought, and I can't just go anywhere I want, so I'm kinda stuck to whatever is planned... we tried t go to Fiesta Key the other day, but it took almost an hour to get to the parking area, and then we drove around the lot for almost 30 minutes and never got anywhere to park... so the detecting part of my trip hasn't gone like I had planned.. I have been bass fishing quite a bit - there's lots of ponds here on the golf course where my gf's parents are staying, and I bought a cheap little rod and reel ... caught a few last night, but this morning it wasn't as good... So, anyway, it's a vacation, and I'm having an OK time I guess, just not getting to hunt... we passed a really old looking high school yesterday, so maybe I'll get to hunt there some... Trying not to pout, but I was looking forward to hunting a lot more... Talk to y'all soon...

Well at least you're on vacation, may as well make the most of it. Beats work anyday
 . But I I'd be bummed out too if I couldn't detect, hope you're able to soon.

That's too bad you can't get out to hunt the beaches but at least you are enjoying the warm weather, hope you can get some hunting in Robert.
