Default Lots of detectin'...

Well I'm back from Florida. It was a great trip and it was hard to come home to the cool weather again. I managed to detect about 2 hours each day. Unfortunately I did not find alot, 66 coins for a total of $3.54. While sunning on the beach I did find alot of nice shells and some sharks teeth and fossils.

cntrydncr1;

welcome back and it seems you had some good huntin' there. If i were to guess, I would have thought that you were on the east coast of Florida, but I looked in an older post and it said you were going to Bradenton. The reason I say that is that on the Atlantic side of the house, there seems to be sharks teeth everywhere. My youngest is now 16 yrs old, yet when she was 1 yr old and I was stationed at New River Marine Corps Air station in Jacksonville NC, we lived at the beach being young and poor...anyway, we found sharks teeth by the hundreads. Fast forward to the last ten years and we how live near Pensacola. We go to several different beaches here, P-cola, Navarre, Destin and no luck on the sharks teeth...I was beggin' to think that here were none here untill the last few years and the shark attacks we had...maybe the storms were tearing the sand to shreds here and everything in it also. But gald to see that you had a good time, and I'll be on the lookout for some sharksteeth...maybe if I bring a can of spam, I can coerce Buster to look also...
