Default Todays hunt

Went out for a bit to the abandon house today but didnt score too much. A bunch of clad but nothing like that merc i found last week.

I found this watch, its a panama jack and doesnt seem to work at the moment.

I came back home to grab a bite and headed out again to hunt with a friend in an old park.

The Huron river runs along the north end of the park and on the south side a row of 1850's houses up a steep embankment. Its about the closest we could get to their backyards.

I started behind the old house and was hitting a bunch of glass so I figured I could be in their old trash dump. I went for a coin hit and found this old bottle.

I dont know anything about bottles, so if anyone has a clue what it is I would appreciate it. (theres no writing on the bottle)

I found these square nails near the bottle hole as well. I hope to spend more time in their trash in the future.

My buddy found a diving knife and a bunch of clad.

We didnt find any silver or gold yet but Im sure theres some around..

All in all it was a fun day and great weather as well.

I dont know much about bottles so I did a little research. I think that it is a medicine bottle or perhaps peroxide like you said earl.

My pics dont really show the lip form but from what Ive read, that type of lip form is from around 1850-1890.. This would put it in the right time frame for the house above the site where i found it is from those years..

Nice finds Joker! That bottle looks pretty old, keep hitting that spot. Congrats on the dig, Beale.
