Default Getting closer!

I've been hitting the local elementary school the last couple of afternoons after work. Before the elementary school was built there was a high school at this location. The old sign for the high school has a date of 1912. Up until yesterday I've been finding mostly clad with a few wheat pennies (1935, 1940, 1948 and1956d) to keep me going. Yesterday I found a 1924 Indian Head nickel. I know the silver is lurking down there someplace. Just a matter of time!

Schools are also my favorite place to detect. It is really good to have old schools in your community. I have found most of my older finds at schools and at least in my area so far there is not a problem detecting there. Good luck.
