First large cent today!!!
Got out this evening for a few hours with several guys from my club. We hunted an old carnival/circus site. I found an area that seemed like it might have been a homesite. I found a very neat old magnifying glass, 2 wheaties, 2 finial looking things, and a porcelain doorknob.
The large cent was found about 4-5 inches down. I'm including uncleaned pics. I can see the words "One cent" when I run it under water. I was so excited!!! This is definately my oldest coin in the year I have been hunting.
