Default Over 40 years later, ring returned today....

1965 Old Dominion University ring returned. Went to ask an ODU professor I know to help me locate the owner vs. trying the Alumni Association and she says "ATC 1965 BS" THAT'S MY SISTER!!!

She lost it in the late 60's sled riding down a small bank. Got a monetary reward, thank yous and permission to hunt where the Civil War took place in downtown Suffolk!! Can't beat that!

WTG Sandigger, I bet She was SOOO happy. I know I would be. I used to belong to Westcoast Prospectors, in So. Cal, They had guys that would take all the rings found and return to the owners. They returned quite alot of them

Well Congrats on finding, and then returning that ring!! That is what it is all about. You made her day, and got some cool new digging spots, way to go, Beale.

It really does feel better finding the owner of a ring....I have a post here somewhere with pictures of a person I found a ring for...not sure who was happier the guy who lost the ring or me for finding it keep up the good work!
