Default MD'ing 101 w/Buster

Howdy All;

Had a nice md session w/Buster yesterday. Wow, he's a great American. I'm new to the md thing so we hit a few places I have done homework on. We hit the future site of our FD, then went to a former grammar school site, now an admin building, but the previous wooden school was there since the late 1870's, burnt down and rebuilt in brick...more time and effort needs to go there, then we hit the former H.S. which is also an admin building built in the early 1900's. He struck silver, I didnt BUT I learned a lot and I'm sure it will sharpen my md'ing skills. Here's the loot I got...Im the alchemist, got lots-o-iron...haha

As Joker mentioned in a previous post, investigation of our hunting sites seems to be a key factor.

Glad you guys got out for a bit...I'm looking forward to meeting Buster (you and E, too) in person and go for a hunt or two! Apparently, it has taken Buster a while to hit silver in your neck of the woods - so hang in there...you're next!

Thanks for the kind words Ric...It was a grand time for sure...as was said...research is the key to hunting the good spots..You really had it on these...I am sure that silver will be in your future..hopefully it does not take you as long down here in Florida as it did me...Also I hope you didn't pick up too many bad habits from me....Buster...

Hey Ric-san that metal cover with the six holes around it, sure looks like the blank PTO cover they use on transmissions.. in other words if you want a PTO ( power take off) you would remove this cover off the trans and in install the PTO drive assy.
