Default our jaunt to Douglas, AZ

hi guys, hope yer hunting went well today. mike and i went down to Douglas today, acting on a reliable tip from one of his buds about how the city park and others are seeing no pressure from mding. If it was good enough for mike to investigate it was fine by me...he's the expert, lol. Beautiful day too i must say...before the 30mph gusts picked up , that is. My count for the day included 3 quarters, 2 dimes, 15 pennies(no wheats), 2 peso mex., 50c mex., lots of pulltabs(we keep them for the club's charity). Also found an old slug from a gun that had no riffling. it has grooves along all sides, laterally. old powder round im thinking. but the best find today was Mike's. right before i started making my better finds, he yells at me that he's got something good . so i go over to him and here it's a 1901 Barber dime .this is the year that douglas was founded. he did a happy dance(more of a shuffle) and i knew that i was in the presence of greatness. he did about 5 bucks in clad, plus a 56' or so wheat today. what a sweet day of detecting it was .i really coudnt have asked for more. i cant wait to order that ace 250 this week. thanks guys and take care.
