Default Douglas follow-up

howdy folks! well i just got back from Douglas with Mike G. and this is how we did...this was my best hunt yet(maybe cuz this time i had the ace?).if this place has been worked it's been awhile. the clad on the left, the buckle and silver ring are mikes.stuff on the right is mine. there is a brass tent stake that mike thinks is 1800's military in the pic...he found that, and i found another partial one but bigger, brass as well.Eh Pappy...what do you think? anyways...what a good hunt it was...one hole had three dimes stacked up with a couple scattered pennies, then another good spot was a penny spill that was spread out in a 2 ft area near a mini bleacher on the soccer field. oh yah found another bullet too, i think it's .45 cal. right in the park...geesh you guys shoulda seen Mike smiling when he showed me the brass buckle...his oldest Arizona find. We think that since this is the Vet's Mem. that there was a calvary detachment there...possibly Buffalo Soldiers. Whoever...they had there hands full with Poncho Villa and his band of no-goods.and this is the exact area where alot of cool stuff happened. I'm positive we'll be back. oh yah the ring on the right is the one i found.pretty sure it's worthless...but still a ring! mike's was silver but not marked.

Default ring set

thanks guys...creekrat the set on the one ring is plastic...the picture makes it look cool though...like it's worth something. but it's not, lol. thanks for asking! yarddog...yep, the Duke was here for a movie shoot back in the day and actually there is an old pole-barn up near the mnt. that iv'e been told he scratched his name on one of the rafters there and i might actually go see if i can find it and get a picture. anyone have a clue as to what the US buckle might be worth? i know some guys down here would go a long ways and do alot to get there hands on one.
