Default Heres a picture of an oldie!!!

Here is a picture of the oldest coin i have found. Being that i am from Indiana i didnt think i would ever find anything this old. I found it last year and didnt have a clue what it was when i found it. My brother found one last year also while point hunting. Yep he didnt even have a detector!. Its a 1797 2 reale. I am hoping to find something older this year but dought it will happen. My oldest US coin is a 1817 large cent.

I found it at an old house site that i found on an old map. Here are a few more that i found there!! 1838 Bust half and an Abraham Lincoln election token from 1864

Those are sweet!!!! Nice chunks of history you got there. The one was probably dropped when one of George Rogers Clark's expedition had to answer natures call...LOL
