Default Hood hijinks

Our computer has been broken and between the geek and the nerd we took apart (twice!) and tried to solder the part, but no go. So we took it in. My son is home... A new BA in finance and accounting ( get a job ) and so I'm using his computer till his summer job comes through in June. He still has one more semester to finish accounting. Also I have been sick with a cold and ear infection for three weeks, so haven't posted, but I did get out once for about 6 hours and paid for it with sore legs. Went to the hood in the AM and did two 15x30 front yards and there was so much I finally put the disc. way up and just dug coins so no nickles. I found over 50 pennies in just one lawn..and some of my postal customers came by to say Hi so it was a nice day. Then i went downtown to some of the old houses and dug it all but no silver again. I was bummed about that but know it will improve with time. I also spent my sick time building a Rube Goldberg style rock tumbler. My boy is going to teach me how to post pics later...I told you, I'm the nerd, SHE'S the geek

Here are the totals:

HOOD
1c -82
10c -9
25c - 5
1 shell game Mckinley president token
1 - key

OLD HOUSES ( 2 )
1c -17
10c -2
25c - 1
2 keys
old beat up Caravell watch

And a 1920 wheat ...oldest to date, that was cool.

Happy Hunting everbody and be safe

What do they say, a bad day md'ing is better than a good day at work, eh? I can't wait to see some pics of your tumbler! I was thinking about hacking one together myself.

Glad your feeling better and hope your computer is cheap to fix.
Just keep in mind that even a bad day of hunting is still better than a good day at work.

Look all those pennies, there has to be a wheat in there someplace.
