Default Camanche Reservoir

Well I got to Camanche reservoir and the water is wayyyy low. Think I found the old town Camanche before they flooded it. Looks like most of its still under water but I did find signs of life. Old pipes, some small foundations, lots of broken china and pottery. Lots of old square nails, some old hinges, horse shoe and pieces of shoes, a spoon , an old looking spicket, and I think an old bike pedal. Also found some barrel rings not in the pic, two axe heads and a tiny pitchfork thing. Anyone ever see a small fork like this? Found lots of broken hinges and unidentifiable rusty stuff too.

Found this rubber thingy just off shore in the lake, Looks kinda like a drain stop but this writing on it looks indan maybe. Dont think they had drains. Anyone have a clue what it is or what kind of writing or symbols these are???

Heres a little thimble size piece I kept that has a chinese woman and flowers painted on it. A boken plate that reads "Vitrified China". Two unbroken small jars, one has "ant foil" writen on it, The other has "super anahist" writen on the bottom. Any Ideas? Lots of the broken china I saw had looked hand painted chinese.

Oh yea, one 1957 wheatie, and a 1977 dime. I was sure I would find more old clad or silver, or chinese coins but nothing.

Wow! Good Stuff!

The pitch fork do dad is a Frog Gig! On the end of a pole they do bull frogs most well. Some people use them to fish from a boat with a light over the side. Not to legal I think.

That disc is sorta hard to read, but what I can read looks like Brand Signatures. You know the Ranch Brand. On the Cow! At first it looked like a servay marker disc! I have a feeling about that disc! That could be money in yer pocket Sir!

Haw! I was wondering how you guys post photo's without the thumb nail!

For sure those are ranch brands! What to hell it was for is stumping me! It could still be a survey marker! Old enough could = $$$$$

Ranch memorabilia is a big time item in the south west!
