Old home finds
I went out yesterday for a 4 hour hunt and went to some 1900 - 1920 houses on this old street. The yards are VERY small so I covered four of them. It has not rained in 3 weeks so the dirt was hard in the sunny spots. Started with no disc. but after 2 hours set it higher and things moved along. Still no silver... maybe it's just not there or this machine can't go deep enough
 But that's the thing with this hobby.. there's always hope for tomorrow. Had a nice relaxing day though and a guy next door to one of the houses said to check his lawn so I went over and found a few things. HH1c -43 10c - 3 25c - 6 one key one toy car one marble wheats 1 - 1956 1 - 1957 D

Congrats on the hunt! You did just fine. Silver is not always deep. I found my only Mercury dime at no more than 2" down, Beale.

sounds like a lot of fun. there should be more there, if you found some wheaties there should be silver!!

Like Beale said...Silver is not always deep..when I found my last silver Merc..it was about 2 inches down...Buster...
