Default First wheatie luck brings cache plus silver also...

Wow…where to begin.? A few firsts this weekend. First wheat, first multiple coin find, first modern day cache (you can say large pocket spill, I call it a cache…lol!) along with first silver coins…I’ll say it again. Wow. Went md’ing with my neighbor Mark in Pensacola to an old condemned church, will face the wreaking ball soon. Found my first wheatie, a 1941. I was psyched. Not much more there, it’s the stuff on the right of my group photo. He left early, it was in the hood, so I took off to a old local park. Found my first multiple coin hit, found two of the three quarters in the same sand hole and also with a penny, middle of group pic. Fast forward to today, Mark and I got up bright and early and headed out for a little huntin’ here in our town of Milton. We hit some abandoned properties and that is where I found my ‘modern day cache’ of 38 nickels. Yes sir, I said THIRTY EIGHT… got a solid hit of nickel and I dug it, about at 4 inches. Pulled it out and shouted to him there was more than one in this hole…after I said looks like three…err four, .he walked over and loaned me his white’s probe. I stopped counting after ten and just kept digging ‘em. Didn’t realize there were so many until I got home. I’m guessing someone got out of their car, drunk (that’s why the keys and huge bottle cap are included in the left side of the group pic, they were right next to this spill…) Youngest nickel was 1983, oldest was a war nickel of 1941 vintage and three 1964’s also. Group pic left side is the 'good stuff'. I think the 64’s are silver not too sure…We moved on and continued on for a little while and just found some more pennies only. Did the happy dance at home in front of wife and daughters…they thought it was a neat find…my best so far. Thanks for lookin’
