Sunday Afternoon Yeilds Assortment !
Started at one school, there was like 100 kids playing soccer, so I went to the very opposite side, of the field. Found this bronze/ brass pendant with a Johnny Appleseed 5 cent US stamp, embedded under plastic. This is apple country, so probably it's not that uncommon, back is stamped antaya, attleboro, mass. Second pendant (actually a locket), popped out a short time later, it's silver plated brass, you can still see the pictures inside ! It was reading as a solid quarter signal, but the vdi was showing 86, not the usual 83,84 for a quarter ! Found a 1947 jeff nickel and a 1954 jeff, the rest clad and 3 canadian cents, the oldest 1965. Moved on to another school and got only13 cents, but I managed to dig this Roy Rogers ?? capgun, got a pic of ole roy?? on the plastic grip, its pretty rough, was in two pieces, but I thought it would make a cool picture !
