beat up or not it's still worth it's weight in silver.64's have no numismatic value anyways the mint pumped out millions of them in 1964.nice find!

Congrats on the silver,My buddy found a merc at the edge of an old parking lot Sunday just lyin there in the dust also,dident even need his detector !

that's cool, RIP! big coincidence, there. i haven't been there since that find, but i'm going to detect tonight while Emily's at dance classs. i might go there or another spot in the vicinity. it's the areas of 1st through 7th street that are the oldest parts here, with a few more empty lots to check into ,so i might get lucky!
