Default Out of the piggybank of Babes

Hey all, Thought you all would get a kick out of this story. Yesterday I took Kat to the BiLow to cash in her change jar so she would have money for the weekend and the coin machine wouldnt accept these coins thank goodness!! 4 wheat pennies 1926,1930,1937,1941 and a german 2 cent from 1980. She has no idea where she got them, I couldnt believe it .I could MD all day and not find a wheaty and here she had 4 of them in her change jar. And yes she was kind enough to give them to me for my collection!! Thanks for looking G-girl

Nice save...glad to hear there was a happy ending....Wheaties are just too cool...I wonder if we will ever feel that way about the Memorial pennies as they are going to be history next year...

Very nice job of rescue! It was good that the machine did not take them. I know that the coin star in my town will not either. I am also glad Kat was willing to part with them, Beale.

The other amazing thing about those machines....they spit out SILVER. I cashed in a ton of change one day and out popped a silver Rosie. I'm usually good at checking my change so this one must have slipped by me or was in the tray from someone previous. Congrats on the wheaties.

Nice Bit of Luck, G-Girl! I hope you gave mini G-Girl a nice new nickel for those 4 wheaties and the german coin.
Those machines don't seem to like me very much, after I dump all of my tumbled clad through them they have a nasty habit of shutting down on me.

Cheers Hon,
