Default It's now called the Ring Field!

Went back today... hunted for 5 1/2 hrs... (gf is pissed off at me, so I didn't care)...

Went back to the new field... in the first 15 minutes - GOLD! Perfect nickle signal... turned up the plug, and oh was it pretty! 14K, with a sapphire, and 4 diamond chips... probably not 30 minutes later, another nickle signal... GOLD AGAIN! This time it was one of the "nugget" type rings that were popular back in the 80's... oh, does that gold look pretty in the ground! It takes a few seconds to register that it's not junk - I'm so not used to seeing it!

Hunted for a while longer, and BAM - SILVER! Pretty little silver ring with a light greenish-yellow stone - not sure what it is, but it's a good stone, I can tell from the setting - it has holes to let the light in...

That was all for the good stuff... I did end up with 113 coins... 21Q, 33D, 14N, and 45 pennies... $9.70 in total...

I probably covered about 75% of the field... I also hunted right through where my buddy hunted yesterday, and I found several coins - quarters, nickles, dimes, pennies...

I also noticed several plugs that were rather shoddily put back... I fixed all of em... Please, everyone do your absolute best to be as neat as possible - we can't afford to lose great spots like this by being sloppy... and also, if you don't already, please pick up your trash... I also noticed several peices of trash laying next to the plug... that's almost worse to me than messy plugs...

Anyway, that's all for now... keep diggin'!

What a great day you had !!! I really like the rings !!,, without having the stone in hand to examine, I would say the greenish yellow is a peridot,, Cool stuff and thanks for sharing your great day with us .
