Default Two pennies are better than none....

I have to tell you all the story about my last outing with the family. It was a beatiful day, in the 80's. We went to my grandson's school and he took his bike to ride around the trail, my husband took the radio controlled motorcycle and I took the metal detector. I was over by the swings looking around and I hear something in the background. I look up to see my husband running and let me tell you that if he is running then it is a sure sign that something is wrong. I look over to see a little boy lying on the ground. He had a wreck on his bike. I went over and he had a skinned knee, scraped his ankle and bruised his foot, not to mention the sunburn he was starting to get on his back. He wouldn't stop screaming long enough to give my husband his phone number to call his parents so one of the other kids he was with went to his house to get his mother. So, that was taken care of and I go back to the monkey bars. I find a couple of fairly new pennies and look up to see my husband running again. I look over and there is a man locking the gait. Our car is inside the lot! My husband is running and yelling, trying to get his attention but the guy locks the gate and drives away. We aren't sure what we are going to do so we start looking around for another way out. The railing kind of tapers down at one end so we can drive onto the school yard but then that means driving on to someones lawn to get out. So I have to knock on their door to get permission to do that and they say its fine. It was a pretty eventful day for two pennies but my husband said at least I had two more than I started with. I hope the next time out is a little more peaceful.
