Default Beach Hunter ID hits Gold first Time out

Finally got to take my BH ID out for a Spin. Met with Kibitzer and went to Silver Beach in St. Joeseph Mich. hit the sand and in the first 10 feet I get a Dime then I head straight for the water where the waves are at about 4 ft. so I figure I'll just stay shallow when some young man tells me he lost his glasses about 15 ft. out So I say I'll give it a try but the waves were just to brutal . he thanked me for tryin anyway and to the shore I head when at about 2 feet of water I get a tone and light for Ring but I'm thinkin it's a pulltab or screw cap. I get a scoop of sand and let the water wash it out and low and behold I see that Sweet Gold Shine . There it was , a lady,s 10K. gold ring with a green stone and 2 diamond chips. Nothin spectacular but I was thrilled. I'm lovin this Detector. The Tones are very easy to distinguish and the lights do what they say they are gonna do. If it reads Coin then it's a Coin. If it reads ring then thats it or a Pull tab or what you would expect. If it reads Iron then thats whats there. If ya get a mixed tone ..say jewlery the n Iron then when it Blurps.. Is most likely the latter. You really don't need the lights once ya learn the tones wich are really easy to do but they are nice as verification and they Look Cool to ! well balanced for me , Ground balance is a Breeze and I think I finally found the detector for me. have to try it on land but Now I can't wait till I can get the spider coil put on and head back to Loot some Surf ! got about $2.52 in change and the Bikinis were very Nice to . Looks like with INDY and her sister Holly not being there, me and Kibs were able to walk away with something this time . Mama Kibs had a Great meal for us when we got back so it was a Tremedous day. Thanks Kibs for your Hospitality and Freindship !! Now I don't want to go to work tomarrow but I must.. I think May get a touch of the Sand Flu . one last thing.. Wherever your drivin to or from, Please be Careful.. Sat at a dead standstill on the tollroad for 30 min. due to a Really BAD Bike and Car Accident. Had both sides closed down and from what I saw It would be a Miracle if someone did not lose their life. Please do the Limit, Let the Nutballs fly by if they want to. I want to Hear from You... Not about You !!!!!!!!!!!! I think I will Now Celebrate with some of Capt. TINS Cure All .. For Medicinal Purposes tho as i feel that Sand Flu starting to invade my Mind..Err I mean my Body !

Hey Tinman,

Is that St Joseph near Benton Harbor? I used to go to school in Berrien Springs and spent a fair amount of time at the Warren Dunes.
