Default Old Pill Box??

I found this metal box near an old home site. It's about the size of a half dollar & looks like it's tin. There must be so copper in it somewhere because of the color & greenish corrosion. There is a hinge which makes me think it may be a pill or snuff box. Any Ideas?

Hey Shooter....It may very well be what you think it is...I have found several in an assortment of sizes...If they are pill boxes we certainly had a drug problem way before the 60's...lol...I think they made compacs in the same manner....Cool find!

A friend of mine found a complete tin(years ago) similar to yours. It had writing still visible on it. "Three Merry Widows".....CONDOMS!!!!!. I don't know how long they have been around, but that tin was OLD.....
