Default 5 silver day and 1882 large cent

From the land of the Bluenose...got out today bright and early with a wonderful hangover from Bud's visit. Puttered up the 101 to Windsor and picked up Makinholes on a day that made me feel like I was still living way up north. After a Tim's we hit a local park then off to the Acadian fort area. Mister Man the wind was so cold it made for a very unpleasant experience and we bade the doctor goodbye with an open invitation to return anytime. Doctor Yeadon is restoring the house which was built in 1760 after the fort burnt down. A huge undertaking to say the least.

From there it was off to another spot where I left Myles and headed to the nearest used clothing store to add some layers to my frozen carcass. Eno would have been nice as the old gut was totally rotten from the abuse! Returning and somewhat warmer the dig resumed. Silver was coming at a good pace and I ended up with a 1913,1950, 1956 and 1957 dime as well as a 1952 25 cent piece followed by a nice 1882 large penny and a coin count of 70 with Makinholes close to that and adding a 1920 large cent and a 1942 nickel to his pile.

After 8 and a half hours we called it a day and I drove Makinholes home where he gave me the grand tour of his abode as well as a glimpse of his coin hoard.........wowzer some great coins!
