I finally found my first decent ring the other day. I was MDing a local National Forest beach that a lot of people use as the water is clear and clean as a bell. I divided the beach into thirds, cause it is too big to handle in one day. The first section I did just yielded a bunch of clad coins, but was a good day. The second section is where I found the ring. I was about twenty feet up from the waterline finding some coins when I got a pretty stong signal. The icon showed it to be foil, but the signal just didn't sound the same as foil I had found before. The depth said it was 7", and was dead on. I dug down to the 7" mark and BANG! there it was. Its nothing spectacular, but better than what I had found up till then. Its solid gold, with two diamond chips on either side of a teardrop garnet.
