early you mean portrait. i was up at 2:00 am. anyway. my dad didnt bring the cam back from work today. so we will have to wait till tomarrow.
its strange. the outside looks like it was plated but along the outside in the middle there is a line of solid gold all the way around, and the inside is all solid gold and shiny like new.

Way to go Eric on your first gold ring. I thought your name was Eric - from another post - if its Rob -my bad.
I've only found two gold rings - and lots of tabs. But if ya want the gold - thats what ya gotta dig.

greg i dont think it is a wedding band. it has to be a womans ring or a childs ring because it doesnt even fit my pinky. yellowdog, yes my name is Eric, robzombie is the name of my favorite rocker. there are no pulltabs here its a celler hole from the 1800's, but im digging alot of square nails because i dont like to use disc. this ring was in a hole with 10 nails about 1 inch away. so i may not have found it if i had used disc.
