woohoo, my first gold.
i was just talking about how i cant seem to find anything good anymore. well today i went to an old celler hole near my house and after digging the usual square nails and a buckle i found a gold ring. i was so exited i stop detecting and came home.
can anyone tell me how to clean it safely? p.s. i will post pics after shes all cleaned up.

Hi Rob,
really not sure. Might want to try warm soapy water and brush it with a tooth brush. How about your jet water system?
