Default Mercury dime helps

I went to the neighbor's yard Saturday and found a Mercury dime, 1943. I didn't take a picture cause I am sure you guys have seen a zillion of them. I was really thrilled to find it. It is in really good shape too. About two feet away I found a wheat penny. It is in the same area where I found that Chinese coin a few weeks ago. Then I must have dug about six nickels, all from the 60's. I was using the relic setting on my Garrett. I usually use the coin or jewelry setting. Of course I have found my share of pulltabs as well. Then I went home and started feeling strange. I got a sore throat and fever to 102.2 and spent the next day in bed feeling like someone had beaten me with a ball bat. Now I have laryngitis and can't say much. At leat the Mercury dime makes me feel a little better. I was supposed to go to my cousin's house in Jackson, TN Memorial Day weekend. He has a house on ten acres where there used to be an old store. He found an early 1900's quarter while planting some flowers and has found lots of horse shoes as well. But, he just fell and broke his elbow in two places so he has been in and out of the hospital for that and so that is off. Hopefully some better luck will be coming for this family soon. Just needed to vent. Thanks.

Default Get well soon. Summer has started,

and it's time to detect. Hope you both heal up quick. Merc dime is always a good find in my book.

Being sick anytime is a pain, but when the weather is pretty nice like this time of year, its the worst!

Hope you feel better soon and find a lot more of the old silver Mercs
