Default Not a total waste of time...

Got out this morning for a few hours of guilt-free hunting... hit the front of the nearby high school first (where one of my old productive ballfields are)... pennies, pennies, pennies... it got to be annoying hitting all those zinc memorials after a while, but I did manage to find a small silver ring and a small Mercedes Benz pendant that may or may not be silver, plus, what I think looks like a slug for a muzzleloader-type gun (Civil War bullet in front of a high school?!)... anyway, decided to move back to the old ballfield and see what happens... quiet, quiet, quiet... not much left there, I've hit it so hard, but there are some scattered targets left... managed a little bit of clad... still no silver out there (except for the '35 quarter I found there a couple months ago)... finally ended up going to another school built in '72 (thought it was older) and managed to find a few more coins and a couple cheap jewelry items... all in all an ok hunt, but I wouldv'e liked to have found some older coins.... alas, it wasn't for today...

$3.20, 97 coins, 1 silver ring, 1 silver pendant...

Default I find lots of firearms related stuff at schools...

Hi P.A.!

You wouldn't believe how much ammunition, spent casings, and bullets turns up at school grounds here in SW WA state....
Recess must have been real rough in years gone by.
