Campsite finds
This was very odd. i heard of a campsite that was used by schools way back when so i loaded my detector and headed out. i arrived at the site not knowing what to expect and that was just what i got. The first thing was an old metal lipstick tube the writing on the tube ( ivo co ) Cable Wisconsin. Ok now i was thinking that was a wierd find and started swinging again and found several coins none of which are very old and then i found a metal hair roller and i was thinking that this was not my kind of detecting site and was headed to my truck when i got a really faint signal and i started digging and at about 7 inches in the ground out popped the gold ring i was stuned.
Can anybody tell me about the lipstick container?
