Default 4 silver in 3 hours

Found these this evening at the 4H camp. I've hunted this spot on and off for a couple of years and it's still producing.

Boobie, if I could do it every other day, I'd be excited. I'm pleased if I can find one in a day's hunt. It was a fun evening...the weather was perfect, and the whippoorwills where singing as the sun went down. To top it off...did you see that moon tonight??? There ride home was even nice.

Pat, just look for your local 4H camp, boy scout camp...etc. I found this place out in the country (4H camp), and the caretaker allowed me access (unannounced). I didn't expect to find much there. But I have found at least 40 pieces of silver there. Most are between 1938 and 1948-lots of mercury dimes. They aren't worth much, but I like 'em. My guess is that local kids spent their summer's there while their Daddy's were off to war. After the war, attendence faltered. HH Jeff

Hi Jeff

Good day out !! and dont give up on those Merc's !!! most coins can run twenty years back from the common dates of the time !!! also with the type of varieties in the merc series, 42 over 1 comes to mind !! they dont need to be old to be worthy ,just the right coin !!

Rick
