Default 3 pence

brass like metal,this type of coin was last used in the 1960's i believe.
found in a local park

3 pence I am thinking that is a English coin, just by the word pence. It is a real neat find. Nice going congrats.

Default Excellent find, Smudger!!!

Great coin from the pre-decimal days!
IIRC, sometime in the late '60's, or early '70's your country did away with all of the pre-decimal coins, and the apparently odd denominations.
Hope you find many, many more!
