22 coins, lots of fun!
Hi Y'all!
I got out to a local park today. I've been hitting it on and off, and have always come away with something. Sundays a very large group of Mexicans play "Futbol" out on the big field. They have two more weeks to go, and then I'll do a huge sweep of that field. I did a little of it today before they got there, and started finding a lot of deep coins, so that site is long overdue for some attention. Drifting through ther picnic and playground areas netted 22 coins, for 65 cents: 1 Quarter, 3 dimes, and 18 pennies. Best find was a 1968-S penny. Not bad for an hour and a half quickie session!
