Default The Lost colony Found?

Me and Carolinachief were hunting at our church a few weeks ago
and I found this little item. It apears to be silver with no
markings on the back. Anybody seen one of these before?

Default Great find!

It refers to the Lost Colony in coastal North Carolina that was settled by in 1585..
IIRC, it was settled by Sir Walter Raleigh.
When ships returned a few years later to resupply it, the settlement was found abandoned, armor rusting and maps rotting.
All they found was a tree with the word "Croatan" carved into it...
It's been found and excavated, I believe.

HH! -Tom

Thanks Ya'll for checking it out. I thought it is was cool cause
it came out of the ground just as you see it.
Yeah I have been through Manteo a few times going
to my aunt's house. After all I am from NC.
I think me and carolinachief took a field trip to manteo
to see the lost colony a few years ago in the 4th grade.
wow does time fly.
