Default Half Cent

I just wanted to tell everyone of my brother's find last week. Like I have said, I found an 1891 Indian Head. Last week, while we were walking towards the car he got a signal. And out of the hole came an 1806 Draped Bust Half Cent. Wow! He had to up me one, lol. It was an awesome find. The US only minted over 350,000. We hope to find some "goodies" this coming Sunday. I'll let you know about the hunt. HH to all!!!!!!

Hi Steelers

Half cents are a Great find ,as are the Indian heads !!!

Early half cent were used extensively in everyday commerce !! To find one with G to Fine details is really something.

In fact it is much easier to find Silver in better shape than the coppers Silver was heavily Hoarded, and the coppers bore the brunt of the use !!
