Default ...1918 Pa driver's license...

One of those things I end up with that I have no earthly idea what to do with. I guess it goes in the trinket box. I found this where Greg found the 1883 pocket watch. I was there for about an hour.

Hopes of a "half dollar" dashed once again.

They were nickel plated brass. This one's got a little nickel left on it....but not much. It would photograph better in natural light....but it's dark.

That's a great find. Never seen one of those around these parts. There is bound to be a collector out there somewhere who would take it off your hands. There is one on Ebay with a bid of nearly $50.00 right now. Check it out.

Cool find! Must've been pretty easy to pass off a fake ID back in those days.

Default Different For Sure!

Hey Wyatt, Neat Piece! I've never seen or heard of the sort. It looks to be the shape & size of a US Belt Buckle. How was this piece attached or carried?

Continued Good Luck, HH Roger

Hi Roger.......These had a pin attachment soldered to the top...just aboout the same area as the year...but on the opposite side obviously. I don't think a "dug" one with no pin is worth much. It was neat to find it though. At first I thought it was a fishing license.
