I have never kept keys that I have found unless it was something cool, like skeleton keys or a railroad keys. I have discarded well over a hundred in my time. I have kept but a fe. I'll bet I threw away a dozen common keys last month. If I'm hunting somebody's yard and find keys....whether they look old or recent, I give them to the property owner in case they go to something.

My best find would be 1839-O with a reverse 1838-O Seated Liberty Half Dime in XF-40= $2,250.00 found
in a cemetery, under a rock in the ground,in the early 1980's and the find a found this year with Mrs. Silver in a dirt basement at old house!
Mrs. Silver best find is a 1896-S Barber Quarter worth $650.00 in old church were we live!

Hey Mr Silver.......Who was the White's dealer in new brighton ca 1979-80. I used to go in that shop sometimes....Brockway or something like that I think.

I also remember them setting up a display at the Hookstown fair about the same time.

That was R.C.Brockett, thats where I traded my 2/DB series 2 for older 6/DB which I have now! I traded my 2/DB and $100.00 for my detector.
Perry, I find a lot of silver with 2/DB but I think it was only TR I wanted a upgrade!
