Default Speaking of research....

Hey Greg......Maybe me, you, and John should go check out this old park. It's about an hour's driving time from my house, and I don't think it'll be at all difficult to find. Doesn't look as though anybody would mind if it was detected either. Notice that the railroad trestle has given way to a foot bridge. This is verifiably the same place, as the 2005 photo was taken by a descendent of one of the folks in the 1913 shot.

I know this isn't really a "find"....or is it? It might just be a really good find.

Wyatt

...sorry...further research reveals this spot to be "off limits".....it's now a state park. Back to the drawing board.

Hi Wyatt!

What's the regs in your state? We can detect in our state parks, but first we have to register with the state and then notify the rangers when we go in.

I may ask....but the old "prohibiting removal of any historical or archaeological, relic or object"....probably just about covers it. Thing is....coins are neither historical nor archaeological. It might pay to ask.
