Default Confederate weekend!

After 4 days without a bullet find, Sat I hit paydirt again with a Confederate shotgun slug. What a big smile I had pulling it from the dirt, my first full on Confederate bullet. Along with the slug I had dug a shot three ringer and some fire bullets (melted). Today (after a rough night with the crowd) I got ahold of NB Digger and see if he wanted to do alittle dirt fishing with me and A.J.. You've already seen the luck he had, very good day for him. I unearthed my second Confederate bullet, a Wilkinson (North Carolina rifle) MM# 105, TT# 141a. I couldnt of asked for a better weekend, I believe that makes 10 or 11 differant types of bullets from one piece of property for me. The others in the picture are more three ringers, a "hospital" bullet (chewed, bite the bullet) and my first gold ring or half of one at least....HH.....Bill

It's a heck of a way to start off a relic hunting future Bill. Some very nice bullets there and keep bringing in the different types.

Looks like you guys had another great weekend. Me and Jonathan made it back from Georgia. Saw some great sites down there we would have loved doing. We are trying to decide what we will do next Saturday. We have a class reunion in the evening so know we don't have a complete day to hunt. We also have several new locations we have permission to hunt after the trip we took with some other folks to Georgia. Jonathan may be itching for another bullet so maybe we can join you guys again. What area you hunt this weekend? Bill, any word on when you are pulling out?

Default Its time for the graveyard hunt.

We have been trying to get out to the graveyard in there, but every time we start out that way we get a signal and just end up staying down the path to Nicholes house. So the graveyard IS the distination next weekend.....unless we get a signal on our detectors first lol. Im glad ya'll had a good time and made it back ok, I've got approx a month left, but the wife and kids are taking off back to Ohio on the first. So we have a few more weekends left to hunt togeather....HH....Bill

Default Goes both ways.

It seems my little prism II is great at finding bullets. But that buckle in your avatar is the stuff dreams are made of. I also found a staff button that I didnt get in the picture due to its soaking....HH....Bill
