Default Caught the bus

Was working an old campsite, finding the usual nails, bottlecaps, etc, when up pops this little sweetheart. Traced it back to Arcade Mfg. Co. Made in about 1929.. Bob

Neat find. How deep was it? And where is McArthur, Ca at? Lived in Ca for years, but don't know where you're at?

Default Where the hell is McArthur

Howdy Boomer.
To answer your questions, bus was about 4 inches down, coil overload on the MXT... Area was an old cattle/deer camp for years. McArthur is about 70 miles northeast of Redding. Little town of about 350, we don't like the rush of the big city <GRIN> so we live about 12 miles out of town pretty much surrounded in forest. When we retired we decided to settle in pretty much the best hunting and trout fishing area in the state..
Dug up lots of rusted Acme beer cans as well.. Bob

Hey Bob.......Very cool bus. Is that cast iron? It doesn't look like diecast pot metal...and I don't think they had it back that far.
