Default cowboys and indians.

whent to a freinds today and did a quick serch of a small patch of ground behind the supermarket.1-1888 indian and an old toy badge from frontier town N.Y

Nice finds rip.....Indians are some of my favorite coins to dig....and the badge is really cool too. It looks like it's silver....sure is in good shape.

Nice finds! That badge is very cool. That badge looks like it is from a fair or something like that. Was there anything like a fair in that location in the past?

thanks,the otsego county fair is just down the street.Its a tin badge,i need to reserch it some,im thinking its a souvenier from some western theme park.the indian is nice to find as it indicates the posibility of finding older siver or gold.

Virginia Beach had a place called "Frontier City" where they did wild west reenactment type shows.....bet it's the same kind of vacation/tourist attraction kind of place.

My wife used to go to Virgina Beach every summer when she was little and we have pictures of "Frontier City".

just found an article stating that frontier town was a western theme park in es*** county n.y. in the adirdacks.not far from me.
