Default Early morning finds

Hubby took the son hunting this morning...so I got my detector and did a little hunting myself. Not to bad of a day! I really enjoyed it! Got over a 100 clad coins
1964 D Rosie
something that looks to be a button, the back has deteriorated
(If anyone knows what kind of button this is I could use the help!)Not thinking it is very old?
another silver nugget ring...a lot larger than the first one I found in the past...have posted a pic of both!

This all came from 2 schools

I haven't been able to get out much to have anything to post so I hope you all enjoy the pics from this part of the country!

Pat

I found a little lever sort of thing today that's pretty neat....maybe off a window latch or something. Looks Eastlake Victorian. I should post a pic of it. I just remebered it and went and cleaned it up.

Would love to see a pic of it! I kept this piece because I like the detail work that is done with it!

Here it is Pat. It looks like a window latch lever, but it's awfully small.

Default Nice Work Pat!

Hello Pat, You had a great day! Without seeing the back I'm thinking the button could be off coverall, coat or pants. Some were sewn on but most were riveted and may be the reason the back is missing on yours. I'm presently getting my collection of these button together and will post a scan soon.

Continued Good Luck Diggin', HH, Roger

Wyatt that is a neat find! Love the detail... When I first looked at it...I thought of a turtle shell! Funny how we see things in different objects! Just love the fine detail work they did in the past! Thanks for sharing!

Roger thanks for the information! I will post a pic of the back of the button tomorrow. You may not be able to tell anything but I will post it anyway!

HH to all!
Pat
