Default Pictures of all my clad since September

This is what 82.43 in clad looks like when you treat it properly. Pretty cool huh?.......

......clad rules. Almost forgot the second picture....farther down this thread.

I suppose I could have bought a few pizzas with it.....but that wouldn't "feel" right. I do this because I want coins.....preferably old coins....but sometimes the hoards of clad are masking older and deeoer coins. Until you clear the riff raff...you don't have a chance of detecting older and deeper coins in an area that's seen use for decades. You have to get rid of the trash first...in whatever form......can slaw...clad....pull tabs....whatever. That stuff will often mask the older and deeper coins if there are any there.

People who would leave a spot just becasue it's full of modern money.....I guess I just don't quite know what to make of that. I will leave a spot that has only a few modern coins to try and get to a spot that has silver....but if I find myself in clad heaven.....I'll go get a bigger pouch!

Great tip there! I have gotten permission to hunt an area that has an old chimney still standing. On the side of the chimney is has 1938 wrote in some concrete at the top. I have hit is twice so far nothing but newer coins late 60's 70's and 80's, lots of trash pull tabs and so on. I guess I need to get the junk out of the way and then maybe some old ones will pop up! With having 1938 on that chimney surely there are some old ones there and finding these coins here I don't think anyone has detected it much with finding dimes and quarters! Who knows! Won't know if you don't dig!

That's my point exacty, Pat. There probably are some good finds to be made there once all the junk is removed.

....addendum.....these were free bonus "gifts" from one of my preferred sellers on eBay. I got them when I bought the walkers and the 26-S Peace dollar.
