Default The ground's not frozen yet...got out awhile

It hit 40 degrees here early this afternoon, so I decided to go downtown and hit a few places. I haven't gone to any new yards, but went around the school some more and a couple neighboring yards. The school gave up the badge thingy with the key and sword crossed....no idea what that is.

The 2 dimes were from the yard that gave me the last walker. That yard has now produced 7 silver coins. The 39 nickel and 23 wheatie were in the same hole with the 41 merc...which somebody used for a screwdriver. It's a little bent....but I think I can straighten it out.

Lots of fun today...found 3 of the 5 clad quarters in one hole too.

Found out that the badge is the jewel of a "trustee" in the Knights of Columbus. No idea as to age.

Thanks Bill.......The badge is a collar disk...WWI US Army Quartermasters Corp.

That was told to me by a fellow on the other board.....I looked it up on Dogpile, and sure emough, he's right. It is similar to the KOC thing.

Way to go Wyatt. Keep showing the members just how tough us Pa., boys are by detecting in the bitter cold & in snowstorms. .
While I intend to be in front of the fireplace with my Amaretto & soda. Let me know when you might get to Beaver Falls area and we will do the coffee thing.

Sounds good to me Boobie......I'll get up there one of these days. I need to get back to moon twp too. There's some unfinished bottle digging there waiting for me to come and finish it up.
