Today's Hunt

Got out for a few hours today at a new location. The site is an area Christian Service camp used for summer camps and other church activities. It was started in the 30's or 40's and has never been hunted. Worked it with my detecting partner Jonathan and a couple of other folks from church who started detecting since we did. We are the only ones with access and permission to hunt it. I came away with 41 coins for a total of $2.49. Got one wheat:1953s and an Olympic Token for the 1996 Olympics. Can anyone tell me more about it? Everyone else walked away with some clad. No silver yet but haven't even hunted the original structure and where the original chapel used to be. More hunts and more finds to come.

Very nice token you found. What is it made from? Looks like it held up real well.

It is made from cheap light metal. Possibly aluminum. In the hole the first thing i saw was a silver edge. Thought I had my first silver dollar. No such luck.
