my 2 hour hunt in the cold
It got a bit warmer today, but it is still cold . So I put on my insulated guchies and went detecting. I went back to a site from the early 1800's. I only stayed out for about 2 hours but did manage to find 2 old knives - 1 Texas Sheriff Ranger badge - 1 quarter - 1 dime - 1 nickle - 3 pennies - 1 wheatie - 1 ring with the letters (CV)on the front and a lightning bolt going behind the letters. There is the number 14626 engraved on the back. - and 1 Colgate's Veto cream deodorant in a white glass container about 1 1/2" wide and 1" tall. So all in all it wasn't to bad a day.
A DAY WITHOUT DETECTING IS LIKE A DAY WITHOUT SUNSHINE

Neat stuff Boobie....Like you, I was just glad to be able to get out today. I just rediscovered woolrich. I don't even think tey make the stuff anymore, but I had a brand new woolrich shirt that had been my step-dad's and which had never been worn. Sheep are smart to wear that stuff. I was warm as toast.
