hey greg you got to have some hill billy in you runnin around bare footed this time of year ......love the old fire place. that is where i found the melted gold if ya remember.good looking place my hat goes of to you ..cr

This was One of the few times I felt sorry for myself.
  • $1500 detector/pinpointer
  • $40 dollar coat
  • and a $5 pair of sneakers

Great snow pics! Can't keep a determined detectorist down! We didn't have snow, but when I started out this morning it was 32 degrees and I had my boots but no gloves! So can ya put a word in to Santa for me on a pair of gloves!

Looks like you two had a great time! Hope the toes didn't freeze off!


Sounds like those boots are on there way!

Your the man Greg I only took my detector out in the snow once, back in 1980 on Christmas Day it was 50° My detector only goes out 33°-35°
that's it!!
