I have the same problem but can't let it stop me. I am very allergic and get it just by looking at the plants. I have tried the calamine and am using something called calagel right now. Has done pretty good at drying it up. I usually end up taking some Prednisone for a few days and getting it out of my system. Get a doctor to prescribe something like that. Take care and cover up out there.

Hey rotty,
I'm not allergic to the stuff and could eat it if I wanted to ! I did get a few blisters about 5 year ago (had sap stained hands from digging in the stuff all day) and could not figure out why......I was taking antibotics at the time which broke down my system. I used bleach to dry up those spots and use it for chiggers as well. It burns but it works! Wish I could help you avoid getting it!

Happy Hunting, Roger

Don't know what a Doc would say...but I use Solarcaine...it stops the itching may burn like heck if you have open areas, but if you get it in time it will dry it up fast! It works for me!

I seem to get it every other time I do the woods. I can remember one summer I got it every two weeks All over

I used to get a sulfur rock and rub it on my poison.
