Default 2 Rings that almost count as 3

Went back to my favorite ring spot and found 2 more today! The first one is one I have never seen before Just assuming it is a ring...two bands hooked together, has 925 and initials and 12 ( assuming that is the ring size?) Thought it was a nice silver ring! The other ring has 3 stones, not sure if it is real or not! Read between 53 and 55 on my detector with a screw cap icon. No markings inside which makes me think it is just a cheap ring. The stones are where they can breath. Here's another I will have to get checked out as soon as I can find a jeweler that will do me a good job! The stones are not scratched. They have a lot of color to them... May just be zirconium. What do you all think! Had a blast flipping these out of the dirt!

Here are finds from today!

That one diamond ring is very nice Pat,

I went out today and found 1 1975 Penny, which was about 8 inches down and was reding as a dime so I thought I had found a nice one.

See ing a lot of people find rings on here makes me want to ask. What kind of place would you categorize as a ring place? ie park, swimming hole, etc.

I have fond 2 rings so far, both in the sand at volley ball courts.

Great finds, Pat! Hope you find many more.

TexMex: I tend to find rings around swimming holes... Last year, I found two sterling rings. One was right on a river bank, the other was nearthe path to the swimming hole.
Another site yielded craploads of costume jewelry on the river bank.
Also found a number of rings in parks, and at baseball fields.
hope that helps you!

HH! -Tom

Very Nice Rings and other good finds, Pat. Your having some great luck flipping out those rings! I have to ask, is this a Ring Grave Yard (where people bury their rings when they want/get a new one)?

Just Kidding, Keep Up The Great Work!
The Diamond Looks Nice, HH, Roger

Thanks Tom,

I was trying to figure out where I would take my ring off for whatever purpose and perhaps lose it. Swimming hole was #1 on my list.

Ive found quite a few coins now but the excitment I get when I see its a ring is above all else. Almost like a quick jolt of adrenaline.

Hey Roger... I think you are right... ( A grave yard for rings)
That's what I am starting to think! lol!!! I have found quiet a few at this place!

Swimming hole--is the answer. This place has been good to me!
TexMex I have also found them in parks and schools! Baseball parks are good too! Anywhere people congregate is a good place to look!

Default Congradulations On ALL Your Finds Yesterday Pat!!!

Looks like you had a BLAST!!!! I went to a creek yesterday were there is an old swinging bridge. Found one nickle, one penney, and a guzillion pull tabs and pop/beer tops. I got to thinking about the flow of the water and decided next time I go, I'm going about 50 yards down streem and working my way up. The penney was a newby and in 4 inches of water and under about 3" of rocks. So the creek must get pretty a pretty good amount of flow when it's up and if it will burry a pennie under that many rocks, I'm sure it would carry coins quite a ways. Also found a couple of fossils but nothing worth keeping. All impressions. THANKS FOR SHARING!!!!

That is a good tip Adam... if you are at a top of a hill if you look at what way the water flows and find wash outs, find where the dirt settles, detect around that area. I have found many coins settled in these areas!
